My match report from the U.S. national soccer team’s 2-1 loss to Jamaica in a World Cup qualifier in Kingston on Friday night.


The CONCACAF Group A standings:

Jamaica 7 points, +2 goal difference, 4 goals for

USA 4 points, +1 goal difference, 5 goals for

Guatemala 4 points, +1 goal difference, 5 goals for

Antigua & Barbuda 1 point, -4 goal difference, 2 goals for

Tuesday’s matches:

USA vs. Jamaica in Columbus, 8 p.m. (ESPN2, Galavision, ESPN3.com)

Antigua & Barbuda vs. Guatemala, 7 p.m. (pay-per-view)
