Kitchen named to U.S. under-20 roster

D.C. United rookie Perry Kitchen was among 20 players named to the U.S. roster for Under-20 World Cup qualifying in Guatemala. Kitchen will report to camp following United’s season opener this weekend and miss several MLS matches. The Americans’ first match is March 29 vs. Suriname.

GOALKEEPERS: Zac MacMath (Philadelphia Union), Cody Cropper (Ipswich Town).

DEFENDERS: Gale Agbossoumonde (Djurgardens), Greg Garza (Estoril), Moises Hernandez (FC Dallas), Sacir Hot (New York Red Bulls), Sebastien Ibeagha (Duke), Perry Kitchen (D.C. United), Zarek Valentin (Chivas USA), Korey Veeder (Columbus Crew).

MIDFIELDERS: Sebastian Lletget (West Ham United), Amobi Okugo (Philadelphia Union), Moises Orozco (Tigres), Dillon Powers (Notre Dame), Kelyn Rowe (UCLA).

FORWARDS: Eder Arreola (UCLA), Conor Doyle (Derby County), Joe Gyau (Hoffenheim), Omar Salgado (Vancouver Whitecaps), Bobby Wood (1860 Munich).
