Edgar Castillo and Joe Corona had starting assignments in Tijuana’s 2-0 victory over Puebla. Corona departed in the 56th minute and Castillo left in the 62nd, replaced by American Greg Garza. DaMarcus Beasley started for Puebla but came off in the 22nd minute with an injury.

Defender Jonathan Bornstein played the last four-plus minutes in Tigres’ 4-0 victory at Jaguares.
