U.S. Open Cup: D.C. United vs. Philadelphia Union at Maryland SoccerPlex

Nice to be back at Maryland SoccerPlex, the lovely, multi-field park in northern Montgomery County that is home to D.C. United Women in the W-League, the 2012 ACC men’s tournament semifinals and final, and untold youth and adult soccer events throughout the year. While you are here, don’t miss the King Barn Dairy Mooseum. Or just head straight to the Beer Garden behind the south goal.

The U.S. Open Cup has reached the round of 16. All sleepy eyes will be on Seattle late tonight for the Sounders’ match against amateur Cal FC, the tournament darling. Fox Soccer will carry the game at 10 p.m. ET. The schedule for all eight matches is available here.
