Victor Bernardez‘s goal in the 94th minute — a low-driven, wall-deflected, keeper-mangled free kick — gave the San Jose Earthquakes a 1-0 playoff victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy on Sunday and provided the Supporters’ Shield winners with an astounding 10th goal in stoppage time this season.
