Greetings from Columbus and the fourth installment of a U.S. home qualifier against Mexico in the Buckeye state.

“Dos a cero!” has been echoing through central Ohio all day. Repeat performance? I’ll say 2-1, USA. In which case, combined with a Panama loss or draw at Honduras, the Americans are going to the World Cup for the seventh consecutive time.

Italy and Netherlands secured passage to Brazil earlier today, joining the host nation, South Korea, Japan, Iran and Australia. Costa Rica, USA, Argentina and Colombia are on the brink tonight.

Kickoff: 8:06 p.m. ET

TV: ESPN, UniMas, WatchESPN,

USA lineup: Howard; F. Johnson, Goodson, Gonzalez, Beasley; Jones, Beckerman; Bedoya, Dempsey, Donovan; E. Johnson. Subs: Guzan, Rimando, Parkhurst, Castillo, Orozco, Corona, Diskerud, Torres, Davis, Zusi, Johannsson.

MEX lineup: Corona; Mier, Moreno, Reyes, Salcido; Arce, Gimenez, Zavala, Guardado; Dos Santos, Hernandez. Subs: Orozco, Talavera, Rodriguez, Meza, Nilo, Reyna, Aquino, Herrera, Alvarez, Peralta, Jimenez.
