World Cup draw and schedule

The 32 teams that qualified for the World Cup have been put into four pots, with Pot 1 featuring the eight FIFA-seeded teams. Before the draw was conducted, one of the nine European teams in Pot 4 was randomly placed into Pot 2 to achieve balance. FIFA has procedures in place to make sure teams from the same qualification zone are not placed in the same group, with the exception of the European teams (one group will feature two European teams). Brazil, the host, automatically has been placed in Group A. The rest of the groups will be filled out by random draw, one team from each pot. The draw is being broadcast on ESPN2 and Univision, with ESPN3 streaming it online.
