*Several DCU players are scheduled to fly to Richmond today and report to the Kickers ahead of Saturday’s home friendly against the University of Maryland. Rookie right back Jalen Robinson was supposed to be among them but injured a hamstring against the Battery. The Richmond-bound group will rejoin United early next week in Washington. Final decisions on Richmond assignments this season are still about two weeks away.

*How is Victor Muñoz, an unsigned second-round draft pick from UCLA, faring in his bid for a roster slot? “Technical, clean on the ball, and then times on the defensive end you question it. He has a couple more days to show what he has,” Ben Olsen said. As for the other trialists in camp, central midfielder Reuben Ayarna gave away the ball too often Wednesday and seems unlikely to receive an offer, while Abel “Shadow” Sebele played the first 23 minutes of the second half on the left wing and did not show much.

Olsen plans to play his first-choice players for most of Saturday’s tournament finale against the Seattle Sounders (5 p.m., live stream at dcunited.com).
