Seven minutes after entering, D.C. United homegrown forward Michael Seaton scored for Jamaica during a 2-1 loss to Serbia in a friendly Monday at Red Bull Arena. The 18-year-old from Central High School in Maryland replaced Vancouver’s Darren Mattocks at the start of the second half and powered a well-placed header into the left side of the net for his second international goal in five senior appearances. He will accompany the Reggae Boyz to Europe for friendlies at Switzerland on Friday, against Egypt on June 4 in London and at France on June 8 — Les Bleus’ last tune-up before the World Cup. This spring Seaton has scored three goals in four matches on loan to the third-division Richmond Kickers.
