United States goalkeeper Tim Howard made 16 saves against Belgium on Tuesday night, the most in the World Cup since FIFA began tracking the stat nearly a half-century ago. And even though the Americans lost, 2-1, Howard is being hailed as a hero for standing up to the Belgian menace.
