This is bad news for Argentina. Angel Di Maria, who scored the game-winning goal against Switzerland to emerge from the round of 16 has been ruled out of the roster for Wednesday’s semifinal against the Netherlands. FIFA writes:

The Argentinian Football Federation announced the Real Madrid winger would not be fit enough to feature after suffering a thigh injury in the 1-0 quarter-final victory over Belgium.

The federation said in a statement on their official website that Di Maria underwent tests over the weekend which determined he would not be available to face the Dutch. His condition will continue to be evaluated day by day.

The good news for Argentina is that Sergio Aguero, who passed a fitness test to return after suuffering his own thigh injury, will be available, and, of course, so will their No. 1 star Lionel Messi.
