A Short Sale: Bidders showed reluctance at Tuesday’s Sotheby’s sale of contemporary art, which totaled $128.1 million. While Jeff Koons’ “Pink Panther” sold for $16.8 million, a number of works by Ed Ruscha and Ellsworth Kelly went unsold. (Wall Street Journal)
