“ Bootycandy ,” The Robert O’Hara-directed play at Woolly Mammoth Theater that discusses maturing as both gay and African American, with lessons on sex and life in between, will remain in Washington for another week. The play’s run has been extended through July 3.
There are also upcoming events related to the production, including after-show conversations on themes relayed within the play, an LGBT Singles night on June 17 and 24 at 6:30 p.m. and a special young-adult focused performance - with discounted tickets - and workshops after, discussing sexual health and relationships on June 18 at 3:00 p.m.
