Would it surprise anyone to know that Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress was quirky?
Didn’t think so — the eccentric A-list actress incorporated her children’s artwork into her Donatella Versace gown for her wedding to Brad Pitt last week. That’s according to “People,” which shared exclusive first rights to the photos with international magazine “Hello!”.

The designer “sewed dozens of designs from her children’s drawings into the dress and veil,” “People” said in its cover story. As previously reported, the couple’s six kids were all involved in the ceremony: Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked Jolie down the aisle. (Pax also made the cake, according to “People.”) Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, served as flower girls. Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, were the ring bearers.
Jolie and Pitt were married in a small ceremony at Chateau Miraval in France, the culmination to a relationship that has made worldwide headlines since the pair started dating in 2005 — shortly after Pitt split from his then-wife Jennifer Aniston. The tabloids carefully chronicled the couple (including their global travel with all the kids in tow) and obsessed about when they would tie the knot.
When Jolie gave birth to their daughter, Shiloh, “People” reportedly paid $4.1 million to land the images — the couple then gave the money to charity. No word on whether a similar arrangement was made this time; a rep for the magazine said the publication does not comment on its editorial process.
