After an almost one-hour Twitter disruption had us all on the edge of our seats, Maryland Coach Randy Edsall revealed that the Terrapins will be in all black for their game against West Virginia on Saturday (noon, ESPNU).
Edsall previously had said that the all-black look was his personal favorite, and the team’s captains apparently agreed.
Thankfully, the weather conditions will be agreeable to such a dark-toned uniform combination. The fine folks at the Capital Weather Gang are calling for daytime highs only in the upper 60s to low 70s on Saturday. I’m guessing the all-black uniforms wouldn’t be prudent on a 90-degree day.
