Maryland DB Alvin Hill suspended for 14 days

Maryland freshman defensive back Alvin Hill has been suspended for 14 days by the University of Maryland for violating school policy, a Maryland spokesman told The Post.

Hill, a Locaust, Ga,. native whose older brother Detrick Bonner is a cornerback for Virginia Tech, was rated the No. 90 cornerback nationally by ESPN.com. He had appeared in one game this season, the opener against William & Mary.

Per University of Maryland disciplinary policy, Hill cannot participate in any football activities for those 14 days.
