Maryland football rounds out 2013 schedule

The Maryland football team is likely to round out its 2013-14 schedule with home games against Old Dominion and Florida International, an individual with knowledge of the situation told the Post.

The official announcement should come shortly, as the contracts still need to be finalized. According to the individual, who requested anonymity because the contracts have yet to be signed, “it’s pretty much a done deal.”

The Terps had to scramble to fill out their nonconference schedule after the ACC announced earlier this month that it would continue to employ an eight-game conference football schedule, rather than move to nine games with the addition of Syracuse and Pittsburgh next season.

Maryland’s other two 2013 nonconference games are at Connecticut and against West Virginia at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
