Terps center Sal Conaboy doubtful vs. N.C. State, RB Wes Brown questionable

October 18, 2012

Linebacker Darin Drakeford (52) is listed as probable to play this weekend despite a thigh injury.

Center Sal Conaboy is doubtful to play in Saturday’s homecoming game against North Carolina State because of an ankle injury suffered during Maryland’s 27-20 win over Virginia, per the Terps’ weekly injury report.

If Conaboy is unable to go, freshman Evan Mulrooney will likely see the bulk of the playing time, especially with Josh Cary replacing Bennett Fulper (foot) as a starting offensive lineman.

Running back Wes Brown, who was held out of the Cavaliers game with a shoulder injury, is listed as questionable, as are offensive lineman Justin Gilbert (knee) and defensive lineman Justin Anderson (ankle).

Once again, Maryland has a comically long list of probables. Try to keep up:

Offensive lineman De’Onte Arnett (ankle), linebacker Darin Drakeford (thigh), defensive lineman A.J. Francis (back), linebacker L.A. Goree (neck), defensive lineman Darius Kilgo (ankle), offensive lineman Nick Klemm (knee), linebacker Kenneth Tate (knee), defensive lineman Joe Vellano (foot).

So for those keeping score, that’s five of Maryland’s starting front seven listed as probable.
