In one final gasp before leaping to the Big Ten, the Terrapins will host Atlantic Division games against Boston College, Clemson and Syracuse, and travel to Florida State, North Carolina State and Wake Forest.
Coach Randy Edsall’s team will also host its primary crossover game against Virginia and travel to Virginia Tech for its rotating crossover game against the Coastal Division.
Had expansion not occurred, Maryland would have hosted Boston College, Virginia, North Carolina and Clemson — the four ACC teams the Terps played on the road in 2012 — and would have traveled to Florida State, N.C. State, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.
Due to Syracuse and Pittsburgh’s addition to the ACC, the league swapped out the crossover North Carolina for a sixth division game against Syracuse.
Dates will be determined later. Maryland has scheduled nonconference games against Florida International, Old Dominion, at Connecticut and against West Virginia in Baltimore.
