C.J. Brown and Randy Edsall, just hanging out. (Jonathan Newton/The Washington Post)
Fire up your computers and questions, Terps fans. Randy Edsall is coming to hang out.
The Maryland football coach will participate in a Google+ Hangout on National Signing Day at 4 p.m., answering pre-submitted questions about the program, recruits and whatever else your brains can concoct. Oh, and the Feb. 6 session will be moderated by senior quarterback C.J. Brown.
Per the press release, fans can access the Hangout via the Randy Edsall Google+ page (I know, I know, Randy Edsall has a Google+ page?), and will be posted on the football team’s YouTube channel.
The team’s taking questions effectively immediately, via the hashtag #MarylandFootball (which currently contains only a couple Ravens-centric tweets) Facebook and e-mail.
It goes without saying that this will be the first Google+ Hangout by a Maryland coach, though video chatting with Sasho Cirovski would be a huge life win for me.
