Stefon Diggs pitches One-Hour Terrapin Energy

ATTN: National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)

This commercial is fake.

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is not an actual, contracted spokesman for “1-Hour Terrapin Energy.”

That energy drink does not exist.

The entire video parodies the popular 5-Hour Energy drink one of several commercials broadcast during last week’s Terps Awards ceremony. If you look closely, that’s a 5-Hour Energy bottle in the video with a Maryland logo taped over it.

Also, Diggs did not perform manual labor on Athletic Director Kevin Anderson’s motor vehicle, nor did he jeopardize his eligibility by recording a rap album. And, as the commercial’s asterisk notes, no bunnies were harmed. That’s a person wearing a bunny costume.
