Maryland received two games on ESPN’s “Big Monday” for the upcoming season, the ACC’s debut year in the network’s Monday night doubleheaders.
The Terrapins’ Feb. 10 road matchup at Virginia and its Feb. 24 home date with ACC newcomer Syracuse will both be broadcast on ESPN and available online at WatchESPN.com. The Orange, which reached the Final Four last season before losing to Michigan, is expected to enter the 2013-14 season ranked among the country’s top 10 teams. Virginia, with first-team all-ACC selection Joe Harris and a strong supporting cast, should be hovering around inclusion in the top 25.
All ACC games will be broadcast at 7 p.m., with the Big 12 games following suit at 9 p.m. Virginia and North Carolina will each appear three times, most of any school in
either conference the ACC.
