Three faxes have trickled in throughout Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period. This officially gives the Terrapins three-quarters of their class of 2014, which is currently ranked fifth nationally by several recruiting outlets.
Colleague Chelsea Janes was present at Potomac High School as shooting guard Dion Wiley signed his national letter of intent before friends and family at a midday ceremony. Read her story here.
Center Trayvon Reed signed and sent his letter of intent from Life Center Academy in New Jersey, where he will finish out his high school career before enrolling in College Park. Small forward Jared Nickens also signed from his high school in Pennsylvania.
