Previewing Maryland-Duke basketball … from 1930

The initial goal here was to unearth the first Maryland-Duke basketball game story from February 1925, but that search turned up empty. Then we tried for the second game story from 1930, because what the heck, second is pretty close to first. That failed, too. So instead, we have the preview of that second Maryland-Duke basketball game. Even in the Great Depression, the rivalry was a big deal.

Also, here’s to using “quintets” more to describe hoops squads.
