Three chain restaurants are opening new locations in the D.C. area on Wednesday and giving away free samples — and a year’s supply of food — to early birds.
Starting at 5 a.m., Dunkin’ Donuts’ new Manassas location is handing out cards to its first 100 customers. The cards are good for a free doughnut and coffee every week for a year at that location.
Crumbs Bake Shop will have giveaways at two new D.C. stores in L’Enfant Plaza and Farragut North. The first 1,000 customers at each store at noon will get a free cupcake.
A New York-style pizzeria originally from North Carolina, Fuel Pizza, will also open in Farragut North at noon. The first 50 people in line will get one free menu item per week for a year.
