Are you a Washingtologist?

There’s no question Washington is full of smart people. But how well do they know the city itself? Go to our Washingtology page to take Cultural Tourism DC’s latest quiz and see how you do.

Here’s a sample question:

Why did the “Cows on a Bicycle” mural in Adams Morgan cause a controversy when it was painted in 1991?
(Cultural Tourism DC)

-No farm animals are allowed within city limits.

-The D.C. building inspector considered it an illegal advertisement and issued a fine.

-The mural was painted over an existing mural of local significance.

-It was technically graffiti, so some wanted it removed as an example.

Do you know the answer? Are you ready for more questions? Take the rest of the quiz at our Washingtology page.
