Call it a royal meet up.
Kofi Boateng, known as an Ashanti Chief and the elected King of Ghana representing the Washington region, is organizing a summit to gather all of the royals who call the area home.

“We can go a long way in promoting cultural heritage,” said Boateng, who works as a CPA by day and lives in an Upper Marlboro McMansion. “We can also provide a useful network.” Boateng said he hopes to have an annual event, “which we will label, ‘The Royals Among us.’”
