After raking in $3.1 million from drivers, the District’s oft-extended ticket amnesty program will finally end later this month.

This means you have until Jan. 27 to pay a parking, moving violation or photo-enforcement ticket without late fees if you received it before Jan 1, 2010.
Some of you might have more to pay back than others: Maryland drivers get nearly 38 percent of tickets issued, Virginia motorists follow with about 23 percent, and District residents incur about 17 percent of summonses issued, as The Post’s Nikita Stewart reported in July 2011.
