Have you nominated your favorites for D.C. Tweeps yet? Here’s the link to do it. Nominate through Tuesday and vote starting Wednesday. Here’s an interview with last year's Favorite Local Business Winner, 9:30 Club, to help you start your weekend. Answers are brought to you by the club’s spokeswoman, Audrey Schaefer.

Name: 9:30 Club

Location: 815 V Street, NW, Washington, D.C.

Twitter handle: 930Club

In 200 words or less, please give us a short, witty bio about yourself or your institution:

If the 9:30 Club was a person, I’d marry it! Known for the best music, sight lines, sound system, Named Top Club in the World multiple times by Billboard Magazine and Pollstar, the 9:30 Club is the inimitable place bands aspire to play and music fans love to attend – a destination for locals and people across the country. Gracing the stage have been legends Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, Al Green, and James Brown; recently discovered acts like Adele, Foster the People, Trombone Shorty and Wiz Khalifa, and arena acts looking for an intimate club play such as Justin Timberlake, the Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters.

If you were a D.C. landmark, you’d be … the 9:30 Club, of course!

If you suddenly woke up on the other side of the world, unable to return, what would you miss most about D.C.? Getting to see all the amazing acts every night – from all different genres. We’re spoiled by the variety of music, and the intimacy and vibe of the Club. We’d also miss the paninis and cupcakes. And late nights Ben’s Chili Bowl, of course!

What’s the best part of Washington – the one that no one knows about? The 60 different beers offered at the 9:30 Club. Like a beer festival all under one roof.

Why should you win Top Tweep again? Well, we’re kinda humble, so we’ll let you tell us, but we’ll blush when you do.
