D.C. Tweeps 2012: The winners

The final results are in.

This year, we tried something different by turning every step of D.C. Tweeps voting over to the readers. The new format produced a nice infusion of new names that so many of your deemed vital to your daily Twitter diet.

While some of this year’s winners are returning champs from the past two years, in several categories new names can claim victory. And in most cases the voting was very close.

Take a look at the list below then check back here on the Buzz as we gather tweet-sized acceptance speeches throughout the week.
