Today in D.C.: Four things to watch for

Coming up today in the D.C. region:

— The D.C. Council is expected to tackle a number of issues Tuesday, including proposed legislation to further reduce certain speed camera fines, ban synthetic marijuana and bath salts, rewrite liquor laws, establish “red-top” parking meters for disabled motorists, and possible campaign finance reform.

— A “Parking Summit” will be held in D.C. on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The District Department of Transportation will report on public feedback concerning parking in the city.

— The Wizards will face off against the Miami Heat tonight at 7 p.m.

— It may feel like spring right now, but temperatures are expected to drop through the rest of the week, with showers are possible Tuesday night.
