As part of the revised version of Georgetown University’s 10-year plan, recently approved by the D.C. Zoning Commission, the school agreed to find a downtown satellite campus for the School of Continuing Studies. As

notes, Georgetown has already found this new location: 650 Massachusetts Ave, and has good reasons for selecting a new spot so quickly.
“GU has an incentive to establish the satellite campus as soon as possible. As part of the campus plan agreement, the school can add about 1,000 new graduate students on the main campus. But for every SCS space they move to the satellite campus from the main campus, the school can assign to a main campus graduate school program.”
