Hank the cat for Senate? ‘He has enemies.’

Among the two-legged, negative campaign ads are becoming commonplace. But apparently the vitriol has leaked into Animal Kingdom as well.

A “Canines for a Feline-Free Tomorrow Super PAC” aims to raise some questions about a feline Virginia Senate hopeful’s bid for candidacy.

“He has enemies,” read an anonymous e-mail to NBC 4 about Hank the cat’s run for the U.S. Senate race amongst former Virginia governors George Allen (R) and Tim Kaine (D). They’re all vying for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Sen. James Webb (D) this year.

“We need more facts and fewer fat cats in Washington,” reads an opposing voice in the video.
