HIV/AIDS music video to film today; performers wanted

Here’s your big (unpaid) chance to perform in a music video with Miss America 2010, Caressa Cameron, who is from Fredericksburg.

The video, which seeks to fight the stigma of HIV/AIDS in song and performance, is filming today near the Columbia Heights Metro stop.

“I'm seeking singers and performers of all ages/races/sizes,” says Monte Montgomery, who is putting it together. “LGBT particularly welcome. Anything goes: If you can sing, dance, juggle, ride a unicycle, do a back flip, balance an ironing board on your head, or just look awesome, we want to include you!”

The director wants notice if you’re coming — he’s at bestcat@comcast.net.

The call time is 5 p.m., and here’s a demo of the choir parts.

Patricia Sullivan seeks out news about Alexandria and Arlington County for the Washington Post.
