Leon Seemann: Insider’s guide to D.C.

Each week, Cultural Tourism DC asks well-known Washingtonians to list their favorite attractions or events.

This week’s list comes from Leon Seemann, who was named deputy director of Cultural Tourism DC in October 2010. He previously served as Cultural Tourism DC's director of operations. Here are some of his picks:

1) Nationals! —  It can’t get any better than Sundays at the Park! My oldest daughter Basha’s first word was "Zimmerman." It’s great shaking hands with Teddy Roosevelt, and garbling down kosher dogs, falafels, and Shawarma.

2) The National Building Museum  — Great place for the kids! We love the playhouse room and the story corner. The kids love to climb on all the sculptures outside of the museum as well.

For the rest of Pat’s picks, visit the  Cultural Tourism DC Web site.
