Marion Barry joins Twitter

Marion Barry: Tweeting (Melina Mara - TWP) The eagle-eyed bloggers over at DCist spotted the following gem of a new development: Marion Barry’s Twitter feed.

First take: The D.C. Council member for Ward 8 — who most recently made headlines for eyeing his son as his successor — really, really seems to enjoy Caps Lock.
