Too quiet? Too loud? Not clear enough? Train announcements remain an issue for many Metro riders who are fed up with the lack of clarity of the directions by operators. One vocal coach even wrote in to offer Metro train operators enunciation tips.

(Susan Biddle — For The Washington Post)
We asked you to try your hand at being a Metro train announcer and submit your best impression or worst rendition of the following announcement: “Next station L’Enfant Plaza. Transfer to the Orange and Blue lines. Doors open on the right.”
We received a lot of great responses and featured some of the best and best of the worst below. What do you think? Do we have future train announcers in our midst?
The Best:
Loud and clear
Slow and steady
Slow and steady II
Freestyle with a dash of personality
The Worst:
Say that again?
Can you hear me now?
Wait, is that French?
Someone needs coffee
La Flaunt Plaza
The music man
