MLK Day: How are you #honoringMLK?

Visitors gather at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington on Sunday. (Jacquelyn Martin - AP)
It’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day. And although some will participate in the marches, gatherings and volunteer missions that have become part of the observances, others will simply enjoy the day off.

But even if you’re skipping out on the organized celebrations, quiet moments of reflection can help put King’s accomplishments and our nation’s progress into perspective.

Some are sharing those thoughts and reflections on Twitter, using obvious topics like “Happy MLK Day” and not so obvious topics like “#thingsMLKwouldntapproveof.”

YOUR TAKE: How are you observing Martin Luther King Day?

We want to know how you plan on honoring Martin Luther King Jr. today. Will it be with some thoughts of gratitude, or will you celebrate the civil rights leader by doing something more? Tell us by using #HonoringMLK on Twitter and we'll post some responses right here.
