Barack Obama took to the streets of Georgetown on Sunday sporting the bold — and much-maligned — style of footwear for a Father’s Day outing with daughters Sasha and Malia.
It’s not the first time the president has rocked the man sandal Urban Dictionary calls an “unfortunate, fugly fashion mishap.”
Earlier this year, Obama stirred bloggers and presidential historians to comment when he was sighted wearing mandals on a trip to the International Spy Museum and flip- flops to a snow cone shop in Hawaii.
