Oprah finale viewing party at Dupont Circle bar

Winfrey tapes "Oprah's Surprise Spectacular." (AP)
In honor of this afternoon’s finale of “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” JR’s Bar & Grill in Dupont Circle is holding a viewing party at 4 p.m., reports WJLA.

The bar, at 1519 17th St. NW, will screen Winfrey’s send-off, the culmination of a 25-season run and the last installment in a three-part farewell.

So pull up a chair, order a pomegranate martini (a Winfrey favorite), and make sure to have some tissues handy — if Tuesday’s star-studded episode is any indication, there will be tears.
