Play it again, Sam: Local theaters mark ‘Casablanca’ 70th

Local theaters are celebrating the 70th anniversary of a classic American drama, “Casablanca.”

Set in North Africa at the beginning of World War II, the well-known tale of an ill-fated romance continues to top lists like the Writers Guild of America’s greatest screenplays and the American Film Institute’s “100 Years...100 Passions.

Three local theaters will show ‘Casablanca’ Wednesday night as part of Turner Classic Movies’ anniversary event.
