Occupy D.C. update: Police chief Cathy Lanier said the Metropolitan Police Department will change tactics in dealing with the “increasingly confrontational and violent” protest movement.

Drowsy driving: Nearly a third of drivers surveyed said they’d almost fallen asleep behind the wheel in the past month, and studies have shown that the twice-annual time changes throw people’s body clocks into a sleepy tailspin for about a week.
