Poll: What’s the best book you read in high school?

The new Common Core Standards, adopted by 46 states and the District, call for public school students to gradually read more “informational texts” as opposed to fiction. However, the standards also explicitly state that Shakespeare and noted American literature be taught, meaning many standard classic books will remain in curriculums.
