
Washington area coffee lovers can expect a lighter option at their local Starbucks.

Do blondes really have more fun? Starbucks sure hopes so.
The company announced Wednesday that, come January, it will introduce “Blonde,” a new, lighter -bodied coffee blend.
Starbucks says the move is in response to complaints from some customers that its roasts are too dark and bitter.
But are Washingtonians — famously loyal to homegrown coffee shops like Peregrine and Qualia — ready to give Starbucks’s new brew a taste?
