Want to be an advice columnist? Here’s your chance

The modern workplace presents plenty of challenges: annoying co-workers, Facebook friend requests from bosses, the anxieties that come with being a working, expectant mom. Think you know how to solve these problems? Enter the Post’s new @Work Advice Contest.

The contest is looking for the person with the smartest, liveliest advice on handling workplace conundrums. The winner could get a four-week column published in the Post’s print edition and online.

Readers and a panel of judges, including advice guru Carolyn Hax, will whittle down finalists through four rounds of face-offs. The complete contest rules are online.

Before you start, check out Carolyn Hax’s tips for solving other people’s problems, then get to work on your best advice column.
