Washingtology: 5 favorite D.C. spots

With everything to see and do in Washington, it can be hard to narrow down your favorite places to a list of five. But it can be done.

Each week, Cultural Tourism DC asks well-known Washingtonians to talk about the D.C. sites they love. This week, Environmental Film Festival Executive Director Peter O’Brien shares his 5 favorite D.C. places. At the top of his list is the C&O Canal National Park.

Go to our Washingtology page to learn his other favorite places in D.C. -- and see how other Washingtonians have responded.

What about you? Tell us your five favorite D.C. places in the comments section below.

Peter says the park is a great place to run or bike. And you can see a variety of wildlife, if you go at the right time. (Katherine Frey/Post)
