Washingtology: Five favorite D.C. spots

The new week is full of opportunities, including a way to think like a D.C. insider.

Each week, Cultural Tourism DC asks prominent Washingtonians to list their favorite places or events. This week, Edward Gero, who plays Ebenezer Scrooge in Ford’s Theatre’s production of “A Christmas Carol,” shares his list.

What are Gero’s/Scrooge’s favorite holiday activities? Well, one involves lots of money (wouldn’t you know it?), and another serves excellent gruel (yes, that reference is to another Dickens novel, “Oliver Twist”).

What are his other favorite things this time of year?

Go to our Washingtology page to see the rest of Gero’s list. Don’t forget to share your favorites in the comments area below.
