Zagat names its best D.C. power lunch spots

Democratic pollster Cornell Belcher lunches at Charlie Palmer in 2010. The steakhouse was in Zagat’s top five in Washington. (Melina Mara — The Washington Post)

For those days when a professional pow-wow warrants more than sharing ideas in the office kitchenette, Zagat has released its list of best power lunch spots across the country.

Topping the D.C. list are:

Central Michel Richard

Charlie Palmer Steak

The Monocle

Prime Rib

Tosca

Zagat calls this list an “occupational must-have. After all, great business deals are never brokered on an empty stomach.”
