Fix caption contest: “So Joe Biden says to Karl Rove....”
Late last week, we asked Fix readers to offer their best caption of this photo — featuring Vice President Joe Biden and former Bush white House senior strategists Karl Rove.
Lots and lots of you submitted captions. (The Fix readership is nothing if not creative.) With the help of super politics producer Natalie Jennings, we picked a winner.
Drumroll please.....
And the winner is: “You wanna know what’s a big f#*&ing deal, Rove? Front row aisle seats!”
That submission came from a Fixista named “blert”. If that’s you, then send your mailing address and preferred t-shirt size to chris DOT cillizza AT washingtonpost DOT com. You have just won an official Fix t-shirt.
If you didn’t win, never fear. We will be doing caption contests regularly between now and November. if ever you see a political photo crying out for a caption, send it to the email address above and we’ll turn it into a post.
