Palin teases presidential run with Iowa-themed video

Sarah Palin continues to tease a potential presidential run, releasing a video through her political action committee Friday that highlights her appearance at the Iowa State Fair last week and suggestively alludes to her visit to the state next month.

The former Alaska governor is still mulling a run for the Republican nomination but is getting closer to her self-imposed deadline. The video, which is styled like a movie trailer, is Palin’s latest effort to remain part of the conversation as Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota compete for conservative voters.

The video closes with the following message: “Thank You Iowa! See you again September 3rd,” followed by Palin’s signature.

Palin is set to give a speech at the tea party-organized Restoring America Rally in Indianola, Iowa, that day.
